Of course, there’s so much more to discover! Here are a few of our favorites:

  • Pilgrim Fathers Church: This is where the very first Pilgrims departed on the Speedwell to America. Next to the church you’ll find a great brewery and restaurant, and the old harbor is a unique piece of medieval Rotterdam.
  • Hofbogen: A long boulevard of shops, restaurants, and cafés beneath an old railway track. Be sure to check out Bird for music & soul food, Station Bergweg, and Man Met Bril for a next-level cup of coffee.
  • Brouwerij Noordt: A fantastic brewery in the north of the city — great beers, nice people, and affordable prices 🙂
  • Oliva: In our opinion, one of the best Italian restaurants in Rotterdam. Also visit Gusto, from the same owner, for the same quality in a more laid-back atmosphere.
  • Deliplein: A square behind the Fenix Food Factory, surrounded by amazing restaurants. Try Deli Bird for Thai extravaganza, Matroos en het Meisje for French cuisine at its finest, CEO for meat lovers, Burro e Salvia for simple and delicious Italian, and finish off with a whiskey and good vibes at Café De Ouwehoer.
  • Van Nelle Factory: A stunning example of modernist industrial architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage site — absolutely worth a visit.
  • Huis Sonneveld: Step into the former home of a Van Nelle Factory director. A beautiful 1930s example of “Nieuwe Bouwen” architecture, fully preserved in its original style. Tip: take the audio tour!
  • De Rotonde: A must-visit for vegetarians and vegans — and honestly for omnivores too 🙂 This place really knows how to handle vegetables. Expect surprising and flavorful dishes.
  • Club Haug: This beautifully designed comedy club features the best newcomers as well as big names in the comedy scene. A guaranteed great night out.
  • Maassilo: For dance lovers, this is the place to be. In true Rotterdam style, it’s housed in a former factory. Head upstairs to the Now & Wow Club for the city’s best parties.

If the weather’s nice, make sure to visit some of our beautiful parks — especially the cool Vroesenpark and the romantic Het Park.

We hope the rest of your stay in our beautiful city is absolutely fantastic!

Big hugs from the BiteMe Food Tours team.
